Printing Guidelines:

1. Create and Upload Artwork:

• Use our mockup generator platform to build your artwork.
• Save each element (e.g., logo, slogan) as a separate file.
• Upload individual files and position them in the mockup generator for the desired printable layout.

2. File Format and Resolution:

• Submit files in PNG or JPEG format.
• Minimum resolution: 150 DPI.
• Use PNG for designs with a transparent background; otherwise, use JPEG.

3. Color Profile:

• Create files in sRGB color profile for accurate representation on the screen.

4. Remove Template Guidelines:

• Delete guide layers from downloadable templates before saving files to avoid their appearance on prints.

Tips for Best Results:

• Avoid semi-transparent designs, use solid colors, or simulate transparency through halftoning.
• Ensure designs have the necessary DPI; typing a new resolution won’t increase print resolution.
• Leverage transparency for black garments; leave areas intended as black transparent to avoid gray appearance.

Disclaimers:

• Non-transparent backgrounds will be printed as shown in the uploaded file.
• No white ink is printed on white shirts; designs with white color on white shirts will have unprinted areas.
• White ink elements on bright-colored garments may appear tinted, especially on red, maroon, and similar colors.
• Follow laundry tag instructions for care; New York Printing Center is not responsible for damage caused otherwise.
• Slight discrepancies in print placement may occur.
• For smaller apparel sizes, artwork may be scaled down proportionately to fit the printable area. (Note: For Sizes XS, S, artwork will be automatically scaled down to fit within the 9×12-inch printable area.)
