Aqueous Coating is a clear protective layer applied to printed materials like brochures and flyers. It shields the ink and paper from damage like scuffs and smudges, while also enhancing the appearance of colors by adding a subtle sheen.
This coating comes in different levels of shine and can be added while the ink is still wet on the press. It dries quickly, reducing the time needed for cutting and folding after printing.
Being water-based, Aqueous Coating is cost-effective, environmentally friendly, and less likely to crack compared to traditional varnishes.
